When I asked the customer if he had a grinding or milling machine to machine the strips on he led me to an old " Churchill " OSB surface grinder just like the one in the photo. It was dirty and a bit neglected and must have been a mid 1950's model but all the traverses were as smooth as silk and the finish on the strips I was grinding was superb.
