Hi all, Still need help please defender td5 2004 model with 220k on clock currently has no grunt until about 2300 rpm then very weak turbo boost. Top speed on highway now about 110, used to hit 120 comfortably, and 140 at a push. Stock standard, no mods on ecu or anything else. Vehicle feels almost naturally aspirated !! Any small incline / hill and the power / speed drops even more.

That will fix the seal issue and prevent new oil migrating down the cable. With nothing going in, I have been told that the oil in the engine harness will stay where it is.

I have recently had all the green top injectors out of a defender TD5 as I suspected one injector had gone faulty and decided to have them all out to do the seals etc. I replaced the faulty injector with a reconditioned one 'green top' and all seemed to have gone well.

Anyone got some tips / tricks that might help me in replacing injector washers and o rings on TD5? Do the injectors need special adjustment or settings? Do I need any special tools? Tappet cover gasket, is it the same for the 1999MY and 2002MY TD5's? Or are there different ones? Same for the O rings and washers? While at it I will also replace injector harness.
